Description
Job Title: Senior Accountant
Job Summary: We seek a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will play a key role in month-end close processes, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including:
- Month-end and year-end close processes.
- Payroll
- Preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
- Reconciliations of accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- General ledger entries and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP principles and financial regulations.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management on financial performance.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities.
